In order to deliver wellness to others, we must be well ourselves. Clarissa Kussin is a board certified holistic health and nutrition practitioner, personal chef and yogi who has spent the past 23 years striving to raise the standard of whole food cooking in each establishment she has engaged with. Clarissa at heart is a “Nutritarian”.
She is the visionary and creator of Full Lotus. Raised in a home steeped in Western Medicine and fused with natural foods, she was eating “Whole Food” before it was cool and was often found as a young child sitting next to her dad in his medical school lectures at Mt Sinai. Clarissa became interested in the cause and effect relationship between the health of her body and the foods that she ate which led to her enrolling in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City. She then further expanded her knowledge by studying Plant Based Nutrition with Dr. Collin T. Campbell through his Cornell University program and studying at the Functional Medicine Health Coaching Academy The heart of her practice lies in the work of Dr. Robert Morse and his International School of Detoxification. Clarissa is a Detoxification Specialist and a Critical Care Health Coach. Fusing the essential business elements of her career with her own diverse culinary style, her distinct “conscious cuisine” was born.
